Is it safe to provide my internet banking credentials to Safrock?
Yes, it is. We use the latest in safe banking technology to obtain a read-only copy of your bank statements to verify your income, expenses, spending habits and overall relationship with money. Your credentials are encrypted as you enter them and then permanently deleted once your transaction history has been obtained. If you are concerned, you can simply change your password after using our service.
How do I know if a lender is legitimate?
As with any form of finance, you should always do your research before applying. You should always check for an Australian Credit Licence and research the lender thoroughly.
How do I make a complaint?
If you’re not happy with the service you receive from Safrock, we always want to know. You can submit an internal complaint to us via the Complaints Policy, here. (Link) You can also submit an external complaint to The Australian Financial Complaints Authority on 1800 931 678 or for information.
How do I report a fraudulent application?
If you believe that someone has submitted an application using your information, please email us at ….. Detailing the circumstances and providing any relevant documentation. This may include any police reports or event numbers. We will do our best to get back to you within 7 business days.


How do I apply with Safrock?
To apply, simply use the personal loan repayment calculator to enter the amount you’re wanting to borrow and your desired repayment period, then click Apply Now and we’ll take you to the online application form. As our service is 100% online, you are not able to call and apply over the phone.
When can I apply?

As our service is 100% online, you can apply at whatever time of the day or night. However, if you have any questions, we can be reached:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 6 pm
  • Friday: 8 am to 4 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am to 12 pm
How does the process work?

What’s the difference between unsecured personal loans and secured personal loans?
Unsecured personal loans are typically of a smaller amount and do not require the borrower to attach an asset for security. Secured personal loans differ in that they do require the borrower to attach an asset for security.
What asset can I use for security for my loan?
For the personal loans that we find, you can use your car, motorbike, caravan or boat as security for your loan.
What happens if I fail to repay a secured personal loan?
If you default on your secured loan and your lender is unable to get in touch with you to discuss payment, they can repossess your asset and sell it to recover the funds that you owe.
What do I do if I am having trouble repaying my loan?
If you are struggling the make your repayments, you’ll need to get in touch with your lender as soon as possible and make them aware of any changes in your situation. If they have at least 24 hours notice before your payment is due, they may be able to work with you to set up a more suitable payment plan.
